New Release: Review: Nokken (Undraland book 2) By Mary E. Twomey

Lucy Kincaid wanted a simple life with a white picket fence, but once Jens took her to Undraland, she knew that wouldn't be in the cards. Learning to maneuver the landmines of laplanding with her boyfriend’s best friend is more than Lucy bargained for. Prince Jamie has access to Lucy’s every thought, making it impossible to have a moment to herself, or run away from her problems.

Pesta, the evil Siren, wants Lucy dead, and will stop at nothing to protect her kingdom that slowly sucks the life from the magical people of Undraland. Nik and Jens lead the way with Lucy as they battle innumerable foes to tear down Pesta's portal in N√łkken.

This book is amazing! Nokken is an outstanding sequel to Undraland. I was swept away into the world Mary E. Twomey created and I just couldn’t put the book down. Her passion comes through in her writing and helps brings it all to life. Nokken is full of action, danger and romance with unexpected twist. I just love how we get to learn more about the members of the group as they travel, it just makes them so much more real.  The cliffhanger had me screaming NOOOO! I so got left in a bad place, all up in the air on some heart wrenching moments.  I just can’t wait for book 3 to see what happens next. I bet it will be even better!

Lucy and her cohorts continue their quest to destroy the portals to the Be throughout Undraland. They run into danger around every turn and find they have even more issues since Lucy and Jamie are now Laplanded. Jamie is not the only inhabitant of Undraland that is cursed and that can put them all in direr circumstances.  Lucy begins to see there is more to her partners then meets the eye. Throughout the story love continues to blooms.
